So Ant-Man merchandise is already been spotted in the wild and I was a victim. I rarely buy toys off the pegs but I wasn’t feeling this entire wave so only planned on picking up Ant-Man. Wasp looks nice, but the others are a stretch in my opinion. You can save yourself the hassle and pick up the whole wave here , build Ultron and be done. But we are here to take a look at the main draw of the wave, Ant-Man.
This Marvel Legends Ant-Man is based on the movie version of the character which is out July 17th. The figure comes with quite a few accessories for a Marvel Legends figure. You get Ultron’s head for the BAF, an ant, and two “ant-sized” figures. You might as well consider the micro figures lost. Not sure if all the helmets have that “distressed” look or it was just mine. It was the only one on the shelf so there were no others to compare. You get you typical articulation of your typical Marvel Legends figure. There are no jackets or capes to make posing difficult. The ant is a cool add on but the micro figures are way too small. Like I said earlier, consider them lost. Not a bad grab for $20 and expect him to be the most popular. Hasbro knew this as they packed an extra Ant-Man and Wasp in the case. This will come in handy for your BAF hunt. There are more of them out there so you can leave them for last.
(All my photos are taken with an Razer phone with crappy flashlights so the images are realistic and not “prettied up” for a catalog to give you a fake impression. Seriously, one of my lights was out and we aren’t professional here.)
