Inside the Toy Box: Issue Sixteen

A little movie called Star Wars is just a week away and people are already lining up outside of theaters. There are also a bunch of new waves of action figures hitting shelves just in time too. You can get caught up on all the new EPVII stuff hitting shelves here. StarWarsBlackSeries also revealed some images of some up coming EPVII figures and Jango Fett you can check out here.

Toys R Us grossly under priced the new Ghostbusters line from Diamond Select. Series 1 has been spotted on shelves for $12.99 each. The series is currently going for much more than that on eBay. This could be an easy way to double your money if you are lucky enough to find them on the pegs.

Greg Capullo’s Two-Face went back up for pre-order and it too is going for decent money online. Like we said earlier, even if it goes down 20%-30%, it’s still a good ROI (return on investment).

The General Lee is hot off the truck and with recent controversy, this might be the last time to get it with the Rebel flag on top. I am a die-cast collector of all kinds and have a few General Lees myself. I am definitely going to get in on what could be, its last hooray. Warner Bros. already said that only one company has the license for die cast vehicles, and after that shooting in South Carolina they terminated it.

Another thing I am a fan of is Deadpool. There are two new POPS! that will come out in time for the movie. Deadpool with his signature swords and Deadpool giving the thumbs up. Other POPS! up for pre-order are Adventure Time, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Bleach, and Tokyo Ghoul. There is also a new Walgreens exclusive out there, Iron Spider-Man.

Quentin Tarantino’s eighth fim, The Hateful Eight, comes out on Christmas Day. NECA has some nice retro 8-inch figures representing the eight due out next spring. NECA also released nice images of there new Sarah Connor figure thats coming out this January. She is up for pre-order here. They also tweeted a picture of what looks like the Kenner Clan leader in progress.

The MOTU NYCC exclusive from Super7 is in stock. When we got the email about pre-ordering Entertainment Earth made it sound like they only got 4 cases. It must have been a sales tactic as they have plenty in stock. A heads up, these are not Reaction figures but very similar.
