NECA 2018 Convention Exclusives Online Pre-Sale Coming Soon

NECA is giving those unable to attend this year’s SDCC a chance to get their convention exclusives online.  Like last year, a certain amount of exclusives will be available on a first come first served basis everyday.

NECA 7 Inch 1990 Movie Ninja Turtles Box Set Revealed?

Today is World Turtle Day, and NECA has been tweeting hints and teases for some upcoming TMNT releases.  The most notable would be the 7-inch scale figures based on the 1990 movie.   This will probably be a SDCC exclusive judging by past TMNT NECA releases and the fact that Playmates holds the license for that scale.  If you look close at the tweet below, you get look at a 7 Inch Scale 1990 TMNT Movie box set. The box looks like a giant VHS tape, the front with the classic movie poster, and you can see figures on the side of the box.  Another give away this is a box set, it says “The Figures” instead of “The Movie” on the front.

New Scott Ian Action Figure From NECA

Thanks to NECA, Scott Ian, legendary thrash metal guitarist and founder of Anthrax is getting his own action figure. Currently up on his site, each figure pre-ordered will be signed by Scott himself. With close attention to detail recreating Scotts Tattoos and Iconic look to make these as accurate as possible. This awesome fully poseable action figure comes with Authentic Jackson flying V.

Packaging Revealed for NECA’s Marvel Classics Ultimate 1:4 Scale Deadpool

When it was first revealed I was kinda bummed about getting a whole new figure just to get the awesome new accessories.  Well now they are making the decision a little easier by the looks of their packaging.  Heck, if the accessories weren’t so cool I would leave this one in the box.  This coming from a person who takes everything out of the packaging.

He is scheduled to ship next month and is available for pre-order at Entertainment Earth.

Bon appetit! NEW NECA Nightmare on Elm Street Chef Freddy Retro Cloth Action Figure

This awesome new addition to NECA’s Nightmare on Elm Street Retro line started floating around the internet a few days ago.  From the cult classic Nightmare on Elm Street movies, this clothed action figure is based on Freddy’s memorable appearance as a chef in The Dream Child! Freddy stands 8-inches tall and is fully articulated. He comes with a chef hat and a gruesome serving tray with removable lid. The figure is packaged in a blister card resealable protective clamshell and features custom artwork created by Nathan Thomas Milliner just for this release!
