Yoko and Hilary over at Funko released their latest unboxing video.  This time it is for their inaugural Disney Treasures box.  Their first them is Pirates’ Cove and there are not many secrets left to be revealed for this box.

They also announced a sign up extension for their Disney box.  They also revealed the rest of the year’s themes in the first box.  They just don’t tell you what order.  Read on for more updates and spoilers.

They are trying a new approach with this box.  All the boxes through out the months will look the same, only difference being a different theme sticker.  I didn’t catch in the video if it would be one sticker or just adding to the previous month’s to make it look like an old school stamped suitcase from back in the day.  On the inside of the lid is a map revealing the rest of the year’s themes.  You just don’t know what direction they will be going on the map each month.  I am also wondering if they are going to reveal the next theme before the order cut off or not.

They promoted this box pretty hard so most of the contents have been revealed in various marketing channels.  I like how the pin is more Disney then Funko.  People love collecting Disney pins from anywhere so this might actually be a hidden jewel in the box.

The Dordz Ride and POP! are no surprise but they mentioned that they will represent a different Disney Park ride in each box.

I like the tin packaging they used for the Jack Sparrow Mini.  My kids will definitely enjoy hiding things from me in it.
