It’s September 1 tomorrow, which means it’s finally Force Friday II—the day tons of new, wonderful Star Wars: The Last Jedi toys are out. But while elsewhere you can see the heroes of the galaxy far, far away in figure-based action, io9 can exclusively reveal a few of the new (mostly) villainous toys making their way to shelves this Fall.


Leaked Inventory List Hints at New Star Wars The Last Jedi Black Series Figures 

An image of an Episode VIII toy list from GameStop leaked on Reddit over the weekend.  The list features new toys for Qui Gonn Jinn, Liam Neeson’s character from the Star Wars prequels, Darth Vader and Lando Calrissian, but there are also a few other code names as well, such as Cool Beta and Foxtrot. Here’s a new breakdown on these characters from a report at La Fosa del Rancor:

Hasbro’s Packaging Revealed for Star Wars: The Last Jedi


Hasbro revealed their packaging for Force Friday II this morning and Rey seems to have a new look.  The latest installment starts right where The Force Awakens leaves off.  Rey has what appears to be longer hair.  I am going to guess that there is either a training montage time jump, or she’s just tired of putting it up in three pony tails.  She also appears to still be the keeper of Luke’s original lightsaber that was built by his father (Anakin).  She is also handling it more like a true Jedi in this shot rather then using it by instinct in the first film.
