If you are like me, you are still processing all of the information revealed this past weekend at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago. All the merchandise from Stars: The Rise of Skywalker tie-in merchandise won’t be unveiled until Triple Force Friday on October 4, but today Disney revealed the packaging at StarWars.com. It shows the first good look at the villain with his full restored helmet with glowing red cracks.
Toy Fair is upon us again, and I find myself asking the same question. Why do I continue to choose NYCC over Toy Fair? Every year I also tell myself to get my act together because I have the resources to make both happen. In the meantime, for those of us who can’t attend, there are plenty of others out there sharing their experiences. Our go to for all the current Toy Fair happenings is always @cobrashowjoes on twitter. We seem to be on the same brain waves as these guys, so it’s always fun watching them share their experience. Expect to see a lot from them. We will try and share as much as possible but our main focus will be NECA’s reveals. They are one of our favorite toy makers and crush it every year. Marvel and Hasbro officially revealed some new store exclusives for their upcoming Captain Marvel series. Target will get her Star Force variant of Captain Marvel, while Walmart will have the Binary version. (more…)
Hollywood Reporter did an article about these and they are currently up for preorder at Entertainment Earth. This is the first wave in new line of Star Wars action figures from Hasbro. These 3.75-inch figures will be accompanied by an accessory, as well as aGalaxy of Adventuresmini-comic and QR code allowing the opportunity to access online adventures centering around that character.
