So I decided to start my Marvel Legends SHIELD collection by getting the Toys R Us Exclusive 3-pk.  This set is already starting to trend above retail in the secondary market.  I always find that odd when it is still available at Toy R Us for retail.  After getting it in hand the winner of the set still is Phil Coulson.  Check out the C class photos and decide for yourself.

Lets start with Nick Fury.  He’s is basically a reissue with smaller legs.  Speaking of legs, he wasn’t a very cooperative model as you can tell.  He is the weakest of the bunch.  Mostly because we have seen him before.

Maria looks like she’s borrowing Black Widows frame with different parts.  Yeah her pistols are stuck in their holsters so she’s borrowing Nicks in the stock photo.  She looks frail but is actually quite sturdy.

Now the man of the hour, Phil Coulson.  The alternate head with shades just screams cool.  He’s also packing his Destroyer Prototype from the First Avengers so he means business also.  The coat and tie and soft plastic/rubber as I had thought and not hard plastic.

Overall this set is worth it if it can be found at retail.  I would hesitate paying more as Phil seems to be the only one trending on the secondary market.
