ZOINKS! Scooby Doo and the Gang Lego Sets

Mystery Inc is now on the case if there is a crime in Legoland.  Scooby and the gang will be arriving on shelves soon in five building-block sets featuring the crime-solving canine and other characters from the many Scooby-Doo cartoons over the years.

“Fans always wonder which properties may come to life in LEGO form, and this year we are thrilled to bring all of the mystery, humor and hijinks of the Scooby-Doouniverse to life in LEGO toys and animated content,” said Jill Wilfert, vice president, licensing & entertainment at The LEGO Group.

The 5 sets are Mummy Museum Mystery, Mystery Plane Adventures,  Haunted Lighthouse, Mystery Mansion and of course, The Mystery Machine.  I am glad they kept all the sets under $100, unlike Star Wars.   The minifigures include Scooby and the gang: Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy.  The different villains scattered through out the sets are The Headless Horseman, Swamp Creature, Mummy, Zombie, Lighthouse Keeper, Black Knight, Ghost, and Vampire.

In addition to being featured in toy form, Scooby and the gang have a Lego Scooby TV special planned to air later this year and more planned direct-to-sale Lego movies in the coming years.  Another smart move to add another cult classic like Mystery Inc. to its already heavy duty line up of licenses with Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  You also can’t forget the hit fan designs in production including the Ghostbuster’s Ecto-1, Back to the Future DeLorean, and the most recent, Big Bang Theory Living Room.

All the sets look to be available online.  It just states they will ship in 30 days.  Check them all out below.

Mummy Museum Mystery $14.99

Mystery Plane Adventures $19.99

Mystery Machine $29.99

Haunted Lighthouse $49.99

Mystery Mansion $89.99
