This figure is 30 years in the making.  Carrie Henn used twitter to reveal the figure on #AlienDay426.  Rebecca ‘Newt’ Jorden will be available exclusively at SDCC this July.  If you can’t make it to SDCC, there is no reason to hit the panic button.  NECA says that it will be available through other means. From the pictures released this figure looks amazing.  The sculptures nailed her likeness all the way down to those big blue eyes.

The figure will stand approximately 5 inchs tall and has 25 points of articulation.  She will come loaded with accessories; flashlight, doll head, 2nd-grader award, and Hick’s helmet, which can be placed on or off her head.

I can’t make it to SDCC this year so I am hoping to snag one by “other means” or reasonably prices on the seconday market.
