1966 Batman Coming to Lego

The rumors are true, 1966 Batman is coming to Lego and they are pulling out all the stops.  I am a huge fan of Batman and 1966 is one of my favorites.  The 1966 Batmobile is in my top three with the Tumbler and the 1989 Batmobile.  The Batfleck mobile is creeping up there.    Much like the Ghostbuster’s Firehouse the 1966 Batman set is definitely going for the adult collector ringing in at $269.99.  It is due to hit shelves March 1st to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first airing, which was Jan 12 1966.  With A whopping 2500 pieces there isn’t anything that this set doesn’t cover.

Among the parcels that make up the set are the Bat Lab with Batcomputer, a Wayne Manor section with an exterior wall to climb on and Bruce Wayne’s study featuring the iconic Batphone and abookcase that slides open to reveal the secret entrance to the Batcave. Also in the set: the Batpoles that take out heroes from the library down the cave.

The vehicles included are the Batcopter, Batcycle and the Batmobile.

Check out the many images below and make sure you login on Match 1st to snag your set.
