I have never really been a Black Friday shopper. I know many people where Black Friday is as much of a family tradition as Thanksgiving itself. I have nothing against it, I just rather spend that time eating left overs and decorating for Christmas. This year could be different though, thanks to Lego. You see their highly anticipated 1989 Batmobile will go on sale Black Friday. I know there is the internet and I could just order it online from the comfort of my home, but where is the fun in that?
So, I was at the mall this past weekend and decided to swing past the Lego Store to do a little recon. The guy working the floor was just as excited as I was when I asked him about it. He replied, “I got a surprise for you, we just finished building it.” He then ran to the back to grab it so I could drool on it in person. (more…)
Lego SDCC exclusives are as good as gold. If you are lucky enough to snag one, feel safe as your investment will just continue to go up. Duckpool, or Deadpool Duck will be no different. USA Today revealed some more information on LEGO’s upcoming BrickHeadz line. The company’s brand new LEGO BrickHeadz collectible line won’t hit retail until next year, but fans at the pop-culture event can get their hands on limited-edition preview two-packs ($40 each) featuring blocky, buildable versions of the biggest superhero characters in movies and comics. The rumors are true, 1966 Batman is coming to Lego and they are pulling out all the stops. I am a huge fan of Batman and 1966 is one of my favorites. The 1966 Batmobile is in my top three with the Tumbler and the 1989 Batmobile. The Batfleck mobile is creeping up there. (more…)
