There’s a New Sheriff in Town and He’s Coming to SDCC

Like we have said before, Lego brings some of the most sought after exclusives to SDCC.  It looks they saved their best exclusive for last, or one of the last.  Following the success of Deadpool Duck, Lego is doubling down and bringing us another Deadpool minifigure.  This time around its Sheriff Deadpool.  For those attending, good luck.  If its anything like last year, your investment will be as good as gold.   (more…)

Join Thanos on His Quest to Obtain the Infinity Stones with New Lego Sets

While on my routine trip to Target, I noticed the new Avengers: Infinity Wars sets.  The sets let you acquire all the Infinity Stones to create Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet. If you look at the Gauntlet on the Thanos minifigure, he’s already acquired the Reality stone.

I know this sways from the movie, but not a huge issue for me.  Also, not all sets represent the scene where they were obtained.  This is probably Lego’s way of avoiding spoilers for the 16 people who still haven’t seen the movie yet.   (more…)

Lego Marvel Super Heroes Ant-Man & The Wasp SDCC Exclusive

Now that the Ant-Man & The Wasp is in theaters, Lego revealed their latest SDCC exclusive from the film.  If you aren’t a;ready familiar, Lego brings some of the best exclusives to the Comic con.  If you are ever lucky enough to snag one you know they are worth their wait in gold.  The Ant-Man & The Wasp set should be no different.   (more…)

Coming Soon: Voltron LEGO Ideas Set

The greatest Lego set for Voltron fans is almost here.  Everyone knew it was going to eventually go to production the day it was spotted on the LEGO Ideas site.  Fans have been waiting a long time so we are glad it’s finally here.  So, if you are looking to add this bad boy to your collection there are a few dates to keep in mind.  The set is due for a wide release in Lego stores and online August 1st.  Lego VIPs get a head start and can start ordering July 23rd.  For the lucky attendees of SDCC, there will be a limited number available to purchase there too.  (more…)

LEGO’s SDCC Exclusive is the Millennium Falcon Cockpit

SYFY Wire revealed LEGO’s exclusive for this year’s SDCC.  Fans and collectors know that LEGO’s convention exclusives are the most sought after and hardest to get.  Just look at this past year’s NYCC Brickheadz.  Check out it all out from SYFY Wire:

We’re excited to announce that one of LEGO’s special, limited edition 2018 exclusives available to purchase only at SDCC is the Millennium Falcon cockpit from Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The 203-piece brick set reproduces the still pristine cockpit of the Falcon featured in the film, along with the iconic duo of Chewbacca and Han Solo co-piloting side-by-side. It comes in retro, limited edition packaging. And yes, minifigures of young Han Solo and Chewbacca are included in the mini-set, which will retail for $40.
