While we are talking about Marvel Legends, Hasbro recently revealed their Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 figures.
Hasbro first revealed the initial figures in the GotG Vol. 2 wave at San Diego Comic-con – Titus (the BAF), Darkhawk, Angela, Nova, and Vance Astro. At that time, they also shared that tighter collaboration with Marvel Studios would allow them to include movie figures in the first wave.
The Spider-Man Homecoming trailer dropped over the weekend and so did some new images of Michael Keaton’s Marvel Legends Vulture figure. Judging by the size and details of the wings, this looks to be a solo release, not part of any wave. I also assume it will be available around the release of the new movie.
The original new FOX show Son of Zorn is getting the Funko treatment!

A new Black Panther Marvel Legends pictures has been circulating around the inter webs today. This appears to be the first comic based version of the Black Panther since the 2013 Rocket Racoon BAF version. This one looks to come with more accessories, like interchangeable hands and Kraven’s spear. We are not sure of an expected release date but with out a BAF piece it could be a store exclusive. NECA revealed some more greats this week on Twitter. Wednesday they revealed the latest in their Ultimate Terminator series with “You Could Be Mine” T-800. He comes with shotgun and box of roses from the iconic mall scene in Terminator 2. For the 25th anniversary T2 will be shown in theaters in 3D.
For #facehuggerfriday, we got a look at the Prometheus Lost Wave. At long last, this series includes the never-released figures fans have been requesting: Vickers, Shaw and Fifield. (more…)
