These were announced a while back but three of the four are in stock and Batman is due to ship April 1st. You can go ahead and get your pre-order in for him when you are grabbing the others. There are six figures in the whole series and you can only get them at Amazon. I wish they did the same shadow/shading effect to all of them like they did Batman. I also was hoping Harley would be in color like the box. I get it though, they want each character to have their own distinct style.
Each limited edition figure was created just for collectors and comes in a gorgeous, display friendly storybook window box that features some of the most iconic scenes, memorable storylines, and epic battles of each character.
Six unique figures will be offered as part of the Tribute Series. Each figure is limited to 3000 figures. (more…)
I wonder why Funko calls it a “mystery” box and then do a spoiler video telling everyone what is in it. My theory is that they are all the same, unlike last year’s Gamestop boxes. The Walmart ones are DC themed and you can check out the screen grabs below. They will be available in select stores and at walmart.com starting November 21st. I didn’t pick up what the retail price is, but I am guessing $20-$25 range. Oh, and they will all come shrink wrapped, so no peeking. (more…)
Bruce Timm’s iconic designs come to life as Pop! Vinyl figures. Based on Batman: The Animated Series, these figures have the iconic look from the memorable 1990s cartoon series. All are up for pre-order now, slated for a January 2017 release. (more…)
Funko debuted their new 3 3/4-in action figures in their Suicide Squad themed DC subscription box a couple of months ago. Now it looks like they are adding the rest of the squad to the mix. These are similar to their Reaction style figures but with more articulation. My kids already claimed Harley and Joker from my box so I am sure they will want to have these too. You can get the whole squad, and even Batman. I sure these will not be readily available at big box stores, so online and your local comic shop are the best bets. If you missed Harley and Joker they are very reasonable on the eBay.
