Mezco Toyz Press Event Reveals & More

The blizzard didn’t stop Mezco Toyz from revealing some of their upcoming One:12 Collective offerings.

From Marvel we are getting classic takes on Iron Man, Wolverine, and Doctor Strange. Rounding out the Marvel superheroes is Daredevil from Netflix.

DC’s One:12 Collective offerings are a stylized, armored Batman, as well as Wonder Woman from the new Justice League film.

We are also getting Ash from the Evil Dead 2, two zombies from George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead, and the classic spinach-eatin’ Popeye. (more…)

Emerald City Comicon 2017 Reveals: Wave One!

Sorry we have been away for awhile, I was laid up sick all weekend. When I took this job in Seattle, one of the things I was looking forward to most was getting to go ECCC. But, my first year here I am going to have to miss it. It just so happens that it falls on my son’s birthday so I will be going back to Houston to celebrate with him.

Since I can’t make it, maybe some of my friends over at Funko will save me a couple. Wink. Wink.

Also they are doing a raffle system just like NYCC. I never made it through the lottery, but was able to get a chance at the exclusives after all the lottery appointments each day. (more…)

NECA Update

NECA had another great week as far as reveals and pre-orders. One of the topics creating the biggest buzz is the 30th anniversary of the original Predator film, and how NECA will be offering a special assortment of figures. There will be seven in total, with a mix of reissues and updated figures. We know that the Jungle Demon Predator is part of the assortment. We also knew that at least one Dutch figure. NECA has revealed the first image, showing their Jungle Patrol Dutch 7″ Scale Figure. (more…)
