I was please with the inaugural Batman v Superman box from Funko and DC’s Legion of Collectors box. I was nervous when they announced the next box’s theme was DC TV. I hear all the shows DC are doing on TV are good, I just don’t watch them. I watch Gotham and was hoping they would include something from that show in the box. I love Greg Capullo’s art, and I am going to be sad to see him leave Batman. A new series of figures based on the designs of the best selling artist have gone up for pre-order. The newest additions include Wonder Woman, Flash, The Joker, and Survival Gear Batman. (more…)

I am not a fan of the retro figures with cloth outfits that many toy makers seem to be doing. What I am a fan of is the retro 3 3/4-inch figures with limited articulation, like ReAction for instance. “Whats old is new”, is the old saying. Heck, Hasbro has even gone simpler with the 3 3/4-inch EVPII figures. They are selling well so I think they might be on to something. I am not just talking Star Wars. Reaction has plenty of licenses that continually do well and sell out. Back to the Future, Goonies, and Terminator just to name a few. (more…)
