Ghostbusters: Playmobil’s First Licensed Toy Line Revealed

Nothing triggers nostalgia like seeing toy versions of your favorite childhood movies, so if you’re a fan of the 1980s Ghostbusters, Playmobil has some feel good toys for you.

Just one day before they were scheduled to be revealed at the 2017 Nuremberg International Toy Fair, full details of Playmobil “The Ghostbusters” toys have become available online.

First teased back in June of last year, we got our first official photos of some of the new Playmobil Ghostbusters sets a little later in the year in October. But as the toys move closer to finally being available come May of this year, Playmobil is revealing all of the details at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair that gets underway starting on Wednesday. New Netflix Series Will Let You Relive Your Childhood with “The Toys That Made Us”

A new Netflix mini-series dedicated to the toys of our childhood is set to start filming this March. The 8 part mini-series is called “The Toys That Made Us”, and hopes to debut December 2017/January 2018. Although, they won’t officially start filming until March, they will be sneaking in a few shots from the Toy Fair this month in New York. And if you think they are staying local, you’re wrong. They mentioned in a short exchange that they will be traveling all over the world to capture toy lines from Japan, Denmark, China, and Canada. New LEGO Batman Movie Sets Revealed

The Hollywood Reporter revealed the new LEGO Batman Movie sets that will be show at the Toy Fair next month. The new sets will be available for retail on June 1st.

If you think Lego is done with its Lego Batman Movie set once the movie hits, and then leaves, theaters, think again.

The company will launch a new wave of Lego Batman sets based on the movie in June, with the line due to be unveiled in New York’s Toy Fair in February.

The brick batches each revolve around a villain — Scarecrow, Bane, Two-Face, Harley Quinn — and feature a vehicle as the main play build. (more…)

Pre Order Now: Twin Peaks POPS! & Action Figures

Funko revealed these at the London Toy Fair last week, and now they are up for pre-order at Entertainment Earth. Out of all of Funko’s reveals this was one of the ones I was looking forward to most. I am definitely digging the action figures.

Terminator 2 1/4 Scale T-800 Figure by NECA

The Terminator franchise was one of my favorites growing up and I love the action figures NECA has given us this far. I was super pumped to find out that they are now offering a 1/4 scale figure for the Terminator line. I really hope this is the first of many more 1/4 scale Terminator figures.

The previously teased Terminator 2: Judgement Day 1/4 Scale T-800 Figure has been fully revealed by NECA. The figure stands at 18″ tall and will include over 25 points of articulation. Fans hoping for a minigun accessory will be quite pleased! It will also include an ammo bag and belt, a handgun, a grenade launcher and more. Check out the details below: (more…)
