New Netflix Series Will Let You Relive Your Childhood with “The Toys That Made Us”


A new Netflix mini-series dedicated to the toys of our childhood is set to start filming this March.  The 8 part mini-series is called “The Toys That Made Us”, and hopes to debut December 2017/January 2018.   Although, they won’t officially start filming until March, they will be sneaking in a few shots from the Toy Fair this month in New York.  And if you think they are staying local, you’re wrong.  They mentioned in a short exchange that they will be traveling all over the world to capture toy lines from Japan, Denmark, China, and Canada.  They also said they will be making plenty of stops around the states as well.  (more…)

Hasbro fully revealed their first exclusive for this years SDCC.

From  This year’s G.I. Joe set (and they’re teaming up with Transformers!) for the G.I. Joe and the Transformers Set ($99.99).

G.I. Joe M.A.S.H.: “I Think I Blew an O-Ring!”


Like many children growing up in the 80’s/90’s, G.I. Joes were a staple in my toy box.  For me, they held the number one spot on my wish list for every Christmas and Birthday until the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took over.  To say that early G.I. Joes were actual soldiers is an understatement.  We didn’t just buy them and put them on a shelf.  We got them, ripped them open and commenced to engage in actual warfare with them. (more…)

Think Outside the Toy Box: GI Joe & Transformers Club Exclusives


Here is another tip for getting your collectibles for cheap or to flip.  Hasbro has decided to make 2 G.I. Joe/Trasnformers sets for their club members. The two sets are Marissa Faireborn and Afterbreaker (does not transform, boo) and Old Snake with a duo of BAT Drones.   (more…)
