A new set of POPS! from Alice Through the Looking Glass, the sequel to Tim Burton’s live-action Alice in Wonderland went up for pre-order. There are six POPS! total and include Alice, Chessur Cat, Mad Hatter, Rabbit, Queen, and Time. The movie will be in theaters on May 26th and you can expect the POPS! out around the same time.
I was visiting some family in New Orleans this past weekend when I got word that the FN-2187 Stormtrooper POP! was on shelves. I had to go out and buy some things we forgot so I decided to head to the nearest Target. When I was there I was surprised to find not one, but six on the shelf. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just a few days a way and the marketing machine is full steam ahead with this one. The Mattel Barbie line is in stock so be sure to look for those on shelves. I apologize in advance for the unboxing video. My youngest two decided to take over and it was all down hill from there. I was trying to explain the two different Snaggletooth POPS! but finally gave up. Back in the late 70’s film makers gave Kenner a grainy black and white photo of the character. Kenner went on to interpret it as a human size figure in a blue outfit. (more…)
