Big news is the reports that Mattel and Hasbro are in talks to join forces. Right now, all it is are talks and I don’t see this happening without huge regulatory scrutiny. It would be hard for the two largest toy companies to merge without forming a monopoly.
Lego, next biggest toy maker, had a few announcements of their own at the UK Toy Fair. (more…)
These went up for pre-order last night and you will want to get your orders in ASAP. The Marvel Legends Wave is in stock and doing very well online. Most of the other stuff will be here by March, just in time for the movie. Rumor has it a few characters meet their maker, so this might be one of the last toy runs for some. (more…)
IGN revealed some images of action figures from the upcoming movie, Captain America: Civil War. Hasbro unveiled new 3.75-inch and 6-inch Marvel Legends, as well as a new 12-inch Black Widow. This is the first Black Widow for the 12-inch Titan line. We also get some 2.5-inch figures for the multiverse 2-pack series. (more…)
