I got my most recent shipment of Star Wars 6-inch Black Series, and I noticed something interesting. Later waves shipping out with Rey and BB-8 now come with Luke’s lightsaber. I received Wave 1 and 4 and both have the newer Rey variant. There are obvious reasons that the lightsaber wasn’t included in early figures. (more…)
Mattel and Hasbro are the biggest players when it comes to SDCC exclusives, so it always seems like we are playing catch up with them. Between them, they both own a bunch of brands and licenses. They teased this one a while back, but finally revealed it back on May 29th. It’s the MOTU She-Ra exclusive. If you are lucky enough to attend she will set you back $75. Mezco Toyz has really been pushing their One:12 series lately. It seems like they are putting up new figures for pre-order every other day. Entertainment Weekly had the official reveal but the set can already be found at Entertainment Earth and big boxes like Target. To mark Star Trek’s 50th anniversary, CBS has teamed up with Mattel to create an exclusive line of Kirk, Spock, and Uhura dolls from the Barbie collection. (more…)
I am really excited about NECA’s latest reveal. Get the chimichangas ready, because Deadpool is coming to the Q scale line up. The figure will be based on the comic depiction of Deadpool, and will come loaded with an armory to take on anything.
